Adult Facility Status Due to COVID-19

On February 28, 2023, Governor Gavin Newsom issued a proclamation terminating the State of Emergency related to COVID-19. As of March 1, 2023, the Board of State and Community Corrections will no longer approve blanket suspensions of standards.

Emergency suspensions will be approved on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Title 15, § 1012. Emergency Suspensions of Standards or Requirements.
