On June 27, 2016, Senate Bill 844 (Chapter 34, Statutes of 2016) became law. SB 844 authorizes up to $270 million in revenue bonds, notes, or bond anticipation note financing for the acquisition, design, and construction of adult local criminal justice facilities. SB 844 Legislation
