BSCC Resources


In accordance with the State Leadership Accountability Act (SLAA), outlined in Government Code 13405, the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) is required to submit a report to the Director of the California Department of Finance on its review of systems of internal control and monitoring processes for a biennial period ending on December 31st of every odd-numbered year.

Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) places an emphasis on achieving measurable outcomes, and making sure the services provided and the resources utilized are effective. It involves using research-based and scientific studies to identify interventions that reliably produce significant reductions in recidivism, when correctly applied to offender populations, through the use of four principles of effective intervention. - Continue to the EBP page

The BSCC Conflict of Interest Code outlines the disclosure categories for individuals holding designated positions, for use with the Political Reform Act and filing of Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700s). Pursuant to Government Code Section 11343(c)(1), the Board of State and Community Corrections Conflict of Interest Code (Title 15, Section 1, California Code of Regulations) has been posted to this website. The Conflict of Interest Code was approved by the Office of Administrative Law and filed with the Secretary of State on November 30, 2017 and will be effective 30 days thereafter.
