BSCC Divisions
Correction Planning & Grant Programs (CPGP)
CPGP administers of a diverse range of state and federal grant programs to community-based organizations, tribes, and state and local governments. Grant funded services and programs include, but are not limited to, addressing public health and safety, diversion, rental assistance, reentry services, parenting and violence reduction.
Standards & Training for Corrections (STC)
STC works in collaboration with local corrections systems to improve the professional competence of local corrections staff in California.
Facilities Standards & Operations (FSO)
FSO collaborates with local law enforcement agencies to maintain and enhance the safety and security of local adult and juvenile detention facilities.
County Facilities Construction (CFC)
The CFC Division works in collaboration with State and local government agencies in administering financing for local adult and juvenile construction projects for the purpose of enhancing public safety and conditions of confinement.
Data and Research
The Data and Research Team works in collaboration with the BSCC Divisions to collect data, maintain various databases, evaluate grant-funded programs, and support the evaluation of grant proposals.

State Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention
California's SACJJDP is made up of Governor-appointed subject matter experts who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for all youth in California by promoting effective juvenile justice policies and programming in compliance with goals set forth in the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act.

Juvenile Justice Standing Committee (JJSC) (2013-2018)
The Juvenile Justice Standing Committee was formed to assist in fulfilling the statutory requirements in relation to a wide range of juvenile justice issues that fall within the purview of the BSCC.
Juvenile Justice Data Working Group (2014-2016)
Pursuant to Assembly Bill 1468 (Ch. 26, Stats. 2014), the Juvenile Justice Data Working Group was formed to develop and recommend options for the coordination and modernization of juvenile justice data systems and reports that are developed and maintained by state and county agencies.
