CORRECTIONS PLANNING AND GRANT PROGRAMS
The CPGP Division administers of a diverse range of state and federal grant programs to community-based organizations, tribes, and state and local governments. Grant funded services and programs include, but are not limited to, addressing public health and safety, diversion, rental assistance, reentry services, parenting and violence reduction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the fair, prudent and efficient distribution of state and federal grant funds
- Encourage the use of evidence-based practices to prevent and reduce crime
- Engage in collaborative planning, ongoing research and information sharing
- Provide grant related training and other technical assistance
